Hi
I have found on the QF website that I can book award seats on Emirates flights between Australia and New Zealand, as a Qantas Classic Reward, using my Qantas Frequent Flyer points. When booking the flight using Qantas points it has the EK flight number (even though it also has a QF codeshare number if I was paying for it rather than using points).
I'm wondering if I could book the same flight through the AA system, as it would be classified as a "wholly within" region award and therefore the points would be about 40% of the Qantas points needed for the same flight. It doesn't come up on the AA booking engine on the website, so I guess I'll need to phone them and ask.
If anyone knows the answer I'd appreciate some advice.
Thanks
