Only if they give it to you! I bet the preferred number, or listed in the phone directory, will take you to India.

I don't care where the call takes you. I am getting pretty good at Asian dialects now. I would really like a SYD contact number for AA. If anyone knows, please help:!:

Update on the AA office

The AA office is currently still open , though I was told when I was in there yesterday, that it is closing at the end of next week. They are then relocating to Mascot so there will still be a presence in Australia and ticket issuing/reissuing will still be available.

I wonder if it will be directly contactable like with an 02 9.... 'phone number.

Well that was interesting. I just called the office directly (not using the whitepages number) and they were happy to help with paying for an AAward but said my paper ticket would need to be issued by QF or another OW partner - public can not access the building - it is a secure building...

So now I have to get QF to issue the ticket - what a drama that could be...

Just phone the normal AA reservations number and pay for the ticket and I think that you will find all is ok.

The AAwards payment isnt the issue - it's the reissue of the paper ticket - given what pr1cks QF were with DONE4s that include Oz segments at the end I dont want someone to raise a problem at this point.

Spoke to QF and will head to bridge street tomorrow (assuming I can find my paper ticket at home somewhere)...

If QF reissue, then you will get hit for fuel fines plus the $75 service fee. I have had AA reissue tickets by posting the tickets to them

They werent overly keen but I spoke to them and they will be doing :)

Just a shame it has snuck up to 17 segments - possibly due to a ground segment in NYC :(

Mileage monkey had it pegged at 16 Segments including a surface segment for LGA-JFK

It might be because DRW-SYD is actually DRW-ADL-SYD on a single flight number and that is showing as two flights in my reservations on aa.com...

Should be all good though - still just about enough time to get it to them and back ;)

It is always exciting when I get close to trips and starting playing around with them ;)

DRW-SYD should be considered one segment unless you booked it as 2 seperate segments. I've got QF108 (booked as AA7366) JFK-(LAX)-SYD and the AAgent I dealt with counted it as one.

I was temping at DHL when my ticket was issued. The AA SYD office was quite happy to leave the tickets with reception for the courier to pick up and I had them the next day. A coworker booked it under her name so I got a discount even though I was a temp.

As an update I got the call on Friday that my tickets have been reissed and it is done as an eticket. Just wondering if I need to re-waitlist for the eVIP nrt-dfw (currently F7 :))
