I can't believe I finally was able to post some photos, no matter how large unfortunately or side on. Now how to put in text is next trick.

i purposely planned on this type of plane Dfw-Lhr, as had never been in business suite previously. All in all very comfortable with lots of desk type area for bits & pieces. I had done some reading up on plane so knew the head phone socket was inside the mirror small cupboard. I thought seat was bit different for sleep, but probably just me. I will try it out again on return to Dfw.

i did post some comments on low expectations of AA started by other op under American Airlines, so won't bore you again, new to tr's & conscious of all the expert ones.

In my understanding, seat faced front of plane, & back to rear of cabin, unsure if this is what you asked

Air Canada herringbone style has one's back to the windows (or rather, on 45 degree angle) and feet and passenger pointing to the aisle (and forwards). By the look of your photo, your feet are towards the side of the plane, so your shoulder would have been on the aisle?

Ah .. Seat Guru confirms this. Air Canada:

Write whatever you want in a TR. The fresh eyes are usually the best. Pictures very much appreciated.

Looks like they've moved the headphone socket - I flew LHR-DFW in one of these last year and the hostie came around and told everybody where the thing was - the plane was only a few days old at that stage and the new arrangement was still very new.

I loved that flight. The food was great, that ice-cream sundae and pizza snack a pure delight.

Won't do it again, though. The UK charges a fortune in fees for long flights at the front end. AA71 FRA-DFW is my preferred ride over the Atlantic.
