Anyone else notice this?

"
But Qantas says it will make a one-off promotional visit to Auckland about a week before it goes into service. It has no plans for a scheduled service from New Zealand.

A select group of frequent fliers, VIPs and media are expected to be treated to a short joyride."

Thats the part I found interesting...However it is from a New Zealand media outlet.

But is the joy flight the Mel-Akl part?

Or a joy flight over Akl?

Maybe KiwiFlyer could be involved?

The A380 actually arrives in Auckland on the 9th at around 2200 and departs on the 10th and the flight departs from Sydney.

Remember Qantas cannot sell any seats prior to the 20th as it still hasn't been given a Air Operator’s Certificate by CASA. I believe that test is done on the 8th October
