A wonderful cottage in Hawke's Bay.

Not a hotel but it is on AirBNB.We booked directly though.

Situated on a vineyard owned by an American couple,Kim and Bruce.

Beautifully set up and basically every need has been anticipated.Kim should be a consultant to hotel room designers who often think of nothing.

A bottle of wine on arrival,a box of fruit,bread,breakfast items as well.bikes if you want to cycle the area,picnic basket,towels for the beach.it has all been thought of.
A lot in the district as well-the Sunday Famer's market at hastings is not to be missed.Several good restaurants nearby.We were only staying 2 nights so chose the Elephant Hill vineyard for lunch.A great choice.

So impressed we will definitely try and get back for a 5-7 day stay.

I just wanted to add, the bathroom was functional and a good layout with shower, toilet and dressing area all separated from one another. A good powerful shower, and in the dressing area had a huge vanity that was at least 5 foot long, had a lighted mirror and draws with fresh towels, hair dryer, and SPACE to put your stuff.
The laundry had the latest Samsung washer and dryer, and all washing supplies. There was a clothes rack and plenty of space to dry your clothes as well.
There was BBQ on the back patio.

I wish we had reversed our itinerary to have 5 nights here and only 2 in Auckland.

Very impressive airbnb, especially the welcome gift. Bedroom and living areas are my fave from your pictures.

I had 2 pineapple lumps as a welcome gift at an Accor property. TWO individual lumps.
