I will just let everyone know first I have never done a trip report before so if the grammar is terrible or the writing is unclear I do apologise. I do not normally do this sort of stuff, But I thought this upcoming trip will be one for us to remember and I thought other people might appreciate it. I will be updating this as we go along or when we get back.

So this is a little more than a trip report, it is a long story that started 15 months ago on our last cruise.
My Fiance and myself were looking for our next cruise to take, and we spotted the P&O Pacific Aria cruising from Singapore to Brisbane which leaves next Wednesday. After we had chosen this cruise I jokingly said we should make this our honeymoon.

To cut a long story short we decided it would be our honeymoon and then the wedding planning started. What we decided upon might be a little unusual to most people, but everyone that knows us said it summed us up perfectly.

My new wife and I hatched a plan to invite everyone to a Surprise birthday party (my surprise birthday in fact) however when everyone arrived to AQWA (Aquarium of Western Australia) they were ushered downstairs to the main viewing tank of the underwater tank.

Little did they know that the approaching scuba divers were my partner and myself who proceeded to announce our vows underwater in front of our friends and family. Luckily my brother did manage to start recording towards the end after the initial surprise. (I am not sure how to add videos so I will link the facebook page it was uploaded to)
You might notice it looked like i got cold feet (literally) and tried to swim away, this however was incredibly painful cramps in both legs after a very long day.

We then celebrated the night with our friends and family with great food, great jukebox and karaoke music. and one of the best things was the photo booth we had.
We used a company called The mighty photo booths (for all people in perth having a party I would strongly advise giving this company a call, they were amazing to deal with) Photos in the link below.

Now this is where the trip report actually starts.
On Thursday night we leave Perth for Singapore Via Dubai as I wanted as long as I could possibly get in the air seeing as I managed to get Emirates first class all the way on the A380.

We are spending the first night at the Singapore Rendezvous location as we get in late. We are then moving on to the Ocean Suites at Resorts World on Sentosa Island for 2 nights. and Then finally 2 nights at the Marina bay sands.
Before we leave on our cruise and enjoying our suite as we decided a long time ago this was a special occasion.

So more to come.

Congratulations. And for your birthday as well.

Congrats - looking forward to the TR - don't worry about grammar or spelling - lots of interesting stuff and photos make it worthwhile

Congratulations on getting married - hope you had a fantastic honeymoon!

Wowsers,

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. Michelle my new wife read the trip report and everyone's comments and she is on board with helping out with the trip report.

We just checked in online for our flights and confirmed our chauffeur drive with Emirates. It's starting to get real now.

Thanks once again everyone

I was a bit surprised that 1A was still available when I checked in, so am just settling into that seat now, Champagne in hand. I have given instructions to the FA that i am not to be disturbed by 'certain' interlopers.

(Assuming our OPs are elsewhere in the F cabin :).)

I think JohnM is busy elsewhere :D
Although I did consider this seat, I thought I would leave it to older travellers who need the comfort. I'll be in the hold with the luggage.*

*Actually you are younger than moi I think
