Curiosity.....roughly how many Amex points would be required to get a Singair J class seat from Melbourne to Singapore, return. Without being a member of anything, I don't seem to be able to look it up.

Re: A question points

Booked online with 15% points discount it will be 93,500 KF points + AU$465.69.

How many Amex points that is depends on your card, but most are 1:1.

Re: A question points

It isn't too much more in Kris Miles to go Suites on the A380. That way you can have the best SQ flight with Krug, Dom Perignon then the icy vodka with caviar and cap it off with a fine red.

How many more? Can't be that cheap, or everyone would do it!

My favourite is 91,375 in Suites Saver on SQ to go SIN to LHR. I still cannot figure how we get this with zero status....but don't tell anyone...

I don't do Suites out of SYD nor MEL but I think it is 112,625 thru to LHR in Saver with a stop at Changi for the Private Room. This I think is the best one but flying from Perth to Melbourne to get going is not on my bucket list.

ssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! ;)

But yes compared to QFF, premium cabins are generally far cheaper pointswise and even better they actually have pretty decent availability.

Kris miles are a favourite for our family group even though Mrscove wears QF undies. Long hauls on SQ tend to be available but that should stay a secret.
