Then it was down to Capetown for three nights. About 7 hours in the car, one of the longest drives. Not a lot of places to stop off for lunch and road works galore.

Lots and lots of grapes, some are table and the others were my favourite type. No stopping for tastings though.

These baboons ran down to the road to harass cars. A couple of little baby baboons.

Pics from the day tour. We had the hotel recommend one, worked out to be about $150 for the four of us. Took in a penguin colony which was very popular as was the ice cream shop before getting on the bus.

This was the last stop at the Cape of Good Hope. Nothing like a little bit of history and geography. It was very windy. The area is in a national park with a little bit of wildlife, including a visit from a very friendly ostrich. He tried to stick his head in the window, where Mr 9 was sitting, he wasn't impressed and I think olly the ostrich had done that before.

The next day it was off to the airport to start the journey home

The funicular was worth the $ rather than walking up all the steps.

And that's all folks!

The pics are not showing in the last post TraceyK though might be my laptop.

I remember the baboons from when we were there - I wouldn't want to mess with them, very sharp teeth.
