A good way to store luggage in Paris

Had to check out of our apartment in Paris in January at 11am but had nowhere to store 5 people's luggage. Booked a single room within walking distance of apartment and bemused the man on the front desk when 5 of us turned up. We assured him none of us would be using the bed as we would be gone by 7pm! Thought it would be a common solution, but according to him, it had never been done before in his hotel. Economical when split 5 ways, gave us an extra day to enjoy Paris in the snow.

Good idea! Currently I have a bag at CDG while I am skiing in Europe. Prices aren't too bad, but it would be a hassle dropping the bags off then heading back to Paris.

We do a similar thing in Bali. Book a cheapie in Tuban, check in around lunch time, do the last minute shopping, relax by the pool, have dinner and a 10 minute taxi ride to the airport. Beats sitting in traffic for upto two hours. Works a treat and no stress.
