I've also noticed that AA and BA seem to talk to each other.
The AA award I'm managing has a BA sector in it. Plugged the AA record locator into the BA site and it comes up with an error message but displays the Amadeus PNR.
Input that into QR and entered the QFF number.

AA talks to HA as well, plug an AA PNR into Hawaiian.com (not com.au though) and it'll bring up your Hawaiian PNR

That reminds me, i should tickets he 2 x mel-lhr F tickets I have on hold for Christmas Day!

Yep sorry bud! BNE-MEL-DXB-LHR-ARN - It did take 3 days to ticket though!

But don't stress if EY F opens up on the 2225 departure opens up for 2 seats I may change!

This was my first QF award using AA points and I was very surprised the seats where there. None in J at the time!

Thats new then - I had to call aa to find it out as HA didnt recognise it. Checked today and it does now.

I'll be cancelling MEL-LHR a couple of days earlier soon... not sure if it will go back into award inventory, though.

It was more what we could get.. Don't worry we're not holidaying there! Working our way back south then over to New York for a week and home. Sucker for punishment I guess!

I think it's more about the 18 hours/day of darkness than the cold.

I think it's more about the 18 hours/day of darkness than the cold.

I like Sweden in the dark especially if there is snow on the ground.

Ah cough. Should have booked them the other week when I saw them. I have to fly out on the 25th and can't do EY outbound (not enough AA miles, only have 80k at present). Taking EY back though with VA miles.

I could but couldn't find availability when I looked. Award nexus came up blank as did individual searching. You're just quicker than I

I watched SYD-NRT JL availability day by day, and just assumed I missed out to someone quicker when nothing appeared for the 23rd. Then four seats became available last week. I also saw changes for other dates.

SYD-NRT seems to be available now, but nothing on NRT-LHR. I don't believe AA allow AU-UK on the 80k award for any other route than AU-DXB-LHR on QF though (They definitely don't for QR, but JL being oneworld perhaps)?

I have done SYD-NRT (JL)-LHR (BA) in J for 60000 miles and have recently seen SYD-HND-LHR on JL/BA for 80000 miles in F. On our trip we spent one night near NRT airport and had a very enjoyable trip.
