I have a couple of questions, which i think i know the answers for, but i would appreciate confirmation from some of our experienced travellers on here?
Using Qantas Frequent Flyer points i have booked my 3 boys (16, 13 and 10) on a Jetstar flight from Brisbane to Launceston and then return 3 weeks later so they can go visit their grandparents.
As the oldest will be 16 years of age, the other two can accompany him and therefore will not be considered as unaccompanied minors. Is this correct?
As the booking is a Qantas booking and the E-Ticket is received from Qantas, the Checked Baggage Allowance will be as per the Qantas Ticket. Is this correct?
I have spoken to Jetstar to check all this, but i was not filled with confidence by the person i spoke to as he didn't seem real sure to start with and gave me a lot of "i think so's" Thus my reason to check with you guys on this forum.
As i am sure everyone can appreciate, i want to make sure that the process is as easy as possible for the 3 boys as they are not experienced travellers and i don't need them to have any unexpected issues.
