Continuing past Purmamarca westwards and a great drive up and over (4000m) the E Andean mountains to Salinas Grandes up on the altiplano on a road to the Chilean border. The salt lake is not very impressive compared with the Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia. I made it my turn-around point and headed back to Tilcara for my last night before going back to Salta for my final night in Argentina.

Over Algeria.

Then back into night skirting around places unfriendly to Qatar.

Out of the B777 and after a 2h layover in DOH into the A380 for the ride to PER.

J lounge was very quiet, even after we got back into daylight. View out the lounge window.

And then it was on the deck in PER and home, to bring a great trip to a close.

Once again, muchas gracias amigo to @juddles for the initial idea! :):)

As always it is great to travel along with you.I get to visit places that unfortunately I won't get to see with my own eyes. But then I have more than enough on my own bucket list.
Thanks for making it so interesting.
