They most likely look better worn on his head, as photographed, rather than seeing him wearing them down below.Well they were 3 for $5 and reusable (even after the pandemic), cheaper than a three layer disposable surgical mask @around $3 ea.
At the pouch point they would be at least 2 layers and designed for moisture absorbency for heavy breathing. Probably not something I would wear (on my head), but more than meets the criteria laid down by the "health experts" at the media conference on Sunday.
