9W (QF codeshare) downgrades BOM-SIN services

Only late last year Jet Airways started a 2nd daily service from BOM-SIN-BOM running on a 737-800 in addition to the existing A330-200 service.

As of 30 March the A330 service will downgrade to 737-800, so 2 daily 737 services.

After QF pulled out of India, QF codeshares on both these services were QF's only link to india, now that is further reduced with less capacity and in premium class no beds, just domestic type recliners...

In my opinion MH or CX codeshares are needed if QF are serious about the success of their Asian routes (and customer experience for premium classes).

Wow, wasn't aware of that! the new terminal in BOM actually looks quite impressive compared to what the old one looked like!

I dare say via DXB wont be attractive unless it's significantly cheaper.

Looks like Lufthansa is already planning on flying A380's to India this year.

Would any serious AFFer turn down 2400 extra miles (plus bonuses) if the price were the SAME?
Once upon a time one of the ME airlines had some very strange routings/fares originating in South Asia
