901 bus service 'flawed'

Even after moving the bus stop at MEL, the bus service is supposedly flawed. I reckon it is just poorly promoted!

Perhaps we need an AFF event that involves using public transport to MEL to show people that it is doable.

There's at least one member here who uses the bus to get to the airport.

Looks like a good run for the driver. One trip each way.

The stop at the airport is reasonably located these days. Agree with the OP that it is simply not promoted properly. I use it when convenient (i.e. during daylight, and when I have oodles of time).

Part of the reason it takes 20 mins from Broadie to Airport and vv. is that they change drivers on the way. Pull up at a particular intersection and there is a driver waiting there with a car - they swap and off we go again.

The changeover is near the Gladstone Park centre.

Maquarie Bank don't want the service promoted.

Now that the bus stop is in a reasonable location, PTV needs to promote it more.
