Hey guys

I have an upcoming flight in first on SQ242 and the aircraft is listed as 777-300 - does this mean I'll be stuck with the old first class seats?

Are the new first class seats only on the 777-300ERs?

Cheers

SQ212 and SQ222 are both using 777-300ER at the moment, while the SQ222 is the Next generation(Newest) products.
And yes SQ242 has the oldest First class.

773 (777-300) and 77W (777-300ER) have identical F product except 773 is older metal refitted with o/h bins in a slightly bigger cabin whereas 77W does not.

777-300ER can be either 77W or 77WN - 77WN has new F whereas 77W how old F - new F a substantial step up from old F - I have given up trying to ascertain which is which on upcoming flts - no guarantees any day on any route.

TBH I prefer the 773 over 77W solely for the bins - but 77WN with newest F does trump both.

Thanks guys - I switched my flight to SQ222 - mostly for time convenience. The ticket listed an A380 - so suites! :)
