Nice one. That left wing tip looked like it got v. close to the ground when banking and climbing at the end!

This does not make me want to fly that airline. Yes, i realise it was a "display", not a pax scheduled flight.

You could only prob do that in one of those jumbo classics (747-200) .. any airbus the computer would think its trying to land and run you into trouble

No, most planes could do that... Chances are that inside the coughpit there where bells and warnings going off (probably asking for gears \ flaps), but under manual control (even on an airbus) there would be no problems...

It's a 747-400, according to wikipedia this airline has one of them. (But no other 747 varients)

Looking at the video there are no wing-tips, I thought all 747-400's had wing tips. Previous models 200 and 300 had no tips.

The tags on the clip suggest it is a 743.

Wikipedia also does say that they have operated a 743 previously, and the current 744 was delivered late last year.

*Torisimo (The name on the Youtube clip), was the name of the 743, which apparently was well known

Pretty cool though… :)

Was the plane piloted or not in that clip? Was it meant to fly into the forest or what that a screw up?

IIRC, The pilot survived and was found guilty of manslaughter.
