Hi All,

I've flown the various QF738 configurations with the different types of bins. Same with the VA aircraft, never had a problem with my standard roll-aboard (which is, admittedly, at the extremes of the allowed measurements)

Interesting situation on Saturday night's QF487 - according to Qantassource - operated by VH-VXJ. My roll-aboard would not fit length-ways into the overhead, protruded by about 1.5cms. I also noticed other pax having similar issues. There was no visible difference between the bins on this aircraft compared with others, and this was the 4/4 sector over last weekend, all on QF738s, all with the "older style" bins no issues with the other 3 ...

Is there a "misfit" X-ray Juliette out there??

Regards,

BD

Were you in business?

At the front, the bins get narrower and many rollaboards won't fit over row 1 - to fit lengthways I often need to put my rollaboard further back over row 2.

Yes, but then the other 3 sectors were also Business ... with no issue. Always in Rows 1 or 2 - given the standard fitting of oxygen etc in the bins above Rows 1, each time the roll-aboard went into the bin above Row 2. Only on this plane was there the problem of my having to slide the back in sideways.
