For some odd reason I am not able to book on Air Tahiti Nui using my Alaska air miles, I CAN book anything on Qantas using Alaska miles, just not to Papeete. Any ideas on how to get a one way ticket from PPT to LAX using Air Tahiti Nui? Any other partner airlines I can book Air Tahiti Nui I'm missing?
I know I could book Through Air France, but they only fly PPT once a week and we need to get home on a specific date.

LAN only goes to PPT from Easter Islands and Santiago (Chile)?!

And then connects through to LAX, not a direct flight but the only one thats bookable using the OPs FF points AFAIK, hence the suggestion:

LAN 834
1 Stop in Easter Island Aircraft: Boeing 767

Connecting in Santiago de Chile (SCL)
LAN 600
1 Stop in Lima Aircraft: Boeing 767

Considering the OP was looking at AF until the weekly frequency got in the way I think its a valid suggestion, there are hardly a plethora of airline options for a paid fare let alone using points.

Is there something similar to Flyertalks site where you can trade airline miles? Since I need 60,000 Qantas, I can trade my Alaska airline miles which are good on Qantas. I just can't use my Alaska airline miles to book Air Tahiti Nui, seems they are only partners with a small number of airlines.
