Needed some MYR cash for Red Packet money in KL

Wise card left at home (2nd travel mistake of this trip)
But have the backup Westpac Debit Mastercard - will just get stung $5 + 3%.
ATM rejected twice with usual 4 digit pin at 2 different ATM - Maybank and Alliance

Rang Westpac - yes can change pin to 6 digit in App which is not true - only 4 digit allowed

AI Google suggested putting a 00 at the end of the 4 digits but I had only one more attempt. Westpac said if blocked call them and they will see "what they can do". That was not reassuring.

Other AI Google suggested that 4 digit still valid for foreign cards which made more sense to me than adding 00 to a 4 digit pin

Anyway tried a HSBC which worked with 4 digits
