Yet another promotion from HSBC. This time it is United MileagePlus (after SQ and AC). I wonder if other *A airlines will also provide similar offers.

I wonder which is better: AC or UA?

Apply and be approved for a new HSBC Star Alliance Credit Card until May 1, 2026 to earn up to 55,000 bonus MileagePlus miles and fast track to MileagePlus Premier Gold status. Just meet the following requirements:

  1. Earn a welcome bonus of 35,000 miles† and MileagePlus Premier Gold status1 when you spend $4,000 AUD or more on eligible purchases2 in the first 90 days from account opening and nominate United Airlines as your status airline
