What does the study involve?

Participating in the study will take around two and a half weeks. The research will focus on in-flight and on-the-ground schedules of light, food intake, sleep, and physical movement. Once completed, participating Qantas Frequent Flyer members will be awarded 50,000 Qantas Points.*

Flights included in the study

The flight routes included in this study are:

  • Sydney to Los Angeles (QF11)
  • Sydney to Johannesburg (QF63)
  • Sydney to London (QF1), and
  • Sydney to New York (QF3).
Booking these flights will not guarantee that you'll be eligible to participate. The study will be conducted periodically over three years and eligible flight dates are subject to change.

They were flying PE and didn’t think the effort required was too much for the points.
From memory the monitoring started a week prior to departure.
