However I meant to register once the card arrived but completely forgot about it so I'll take the 500 while it's on offer.

But it will be in a foreign currency. That's isn't going to happen in Australia unless you're at an International airport. And then there's the associated fees.

Off to HKG early next year so decided to take up the offer and put a few shekels in and convert them to $HKD.
