I also got this offer today with zero SCs this membership year and one Y booking to BKK in Feb.

No good for me because my next booking will be for May/June with a voucher.

Didn't even activate the offer.

Myself and another household account received a 50% SC offer this morning. I'm currently sitting on 2,025 SC with the other account sitting on 865 SC - both accounts have 6 weeks to go before year ends. Both offers have the same terms; book before 20/1/17 for flights between 13/1 - 13/4.

I also received the email this morning with the same terms.

However, my FF situation couldn't hardly be more different from yours. I'm mere silver sitting on 120SC with a membership year ending 31 July. Have enough forward bookings to hang on to silver (just) for another year - will requalify a few days before my membership year ends.

Perhaps Qantas are trying to entice me to "go for gold"?

Considering the state of international QF flying exPER and the recent extra points offer for "certificates pre 01-Jan-17" the email offer has generated little joy.

Nevertheless an offer that will be useful for some of the eastern states QFF members.

The qualifying travel period appears to be timed to finish a similar time to when the DSC promo from last year runs out. Checked my email and I haven't got a targeted offer.

Hoping there's another DSC offer for everyone later this calendar year or sometime next year.

I haven't got one since about 2014 (barring the generic one offered last year to everyone with a very limited time window).

I'm keeping my powder dry and not activated. If the fly period extended into July/Aug I'd book a couple of return tickets to SFO. Fingers crossed another one comes our way in the new membership year starting 1st March.

I had two (different styles) Qantas emails offering 50% bonus status credits within a fortnight at the end of November towards the middle of December. However I failed to activate the offer for the first one which may be why they sent the second?

It seems a bit silly for them to send an email offering it, but having to activate the offer which if you skim read the email was surprisingly easy to do!

I've lodged a request to retrospectively apply those 'missed' status credits for what it's worth - 60SCs is fairly worthwhile even though it's not needed for WP and I'm nowhere near P1.

I'm hoping that a SC offer of some sorts comes my way, currently gold but expires March 31st and sitting on 0 status credits (haven't stepped on a plane of any sort for nearly a year) but do have a possible trip to Ontario in late March - but even on full flex economy that's only going to get me 310 SC's. Help! :-(

I would love to know what calculations they use to work out who gets these offers. I've been flying Qantas non-stop for the last 4.5 yrs (1yr gold and 3.5yrs platinum) and have only ever had 2 DSC offers.
