What exclusion period applies for 2? On my reading, if you keep the card for a second year, having met the $48K 'maintain gold' spend in the first year AND reselect KF as your program in year 2, its 25K KF points.

Couldn't be more timely for me!! This arvo I was just pondering if I should select Aeroplan for year 2, next month. Assuming the offer is not targeted, KF will do nicely.

More accurately should have said 1. Anyway bottom line is if you have had card in the last 18 months not eligible. @RooFlyer with Aeroplan offer you had to go through their website so just double check this.

A quick heads up regarding HSBC - they are looking to sell off or close their retail banking operations in quite a number of countries including Australia - I'm not sure why as I know that they have a large customer base amongst the Australian community.
