5 million QFF points being split for purchasing gift cards through QF Marketplace (16-26 October 2025)

An interesting promo is live in the QF Marketplace for the next 11 days - 5 million QFF points are being split amongst people who buy gift cards through the Marketplace.

• You'll receive 1 share of the prize for every dollar you spend on gift cards
• You'll receive 2 shares of the prize for every dollar of gift cards you redeem with your Qantas points
• Points + Pay purchases will get a split of shares depending on how much cash you pay and how many points you redeem

Points will be credited by Friday 16 January 2026.

There are also additional points being offered on some gift cards during the 11 day period - Uber and The Card Network's SHOP gift card are both offering double points (6 Qantas Points per dollar spent).

T&C's:

Offer period: 16 October 2025 00:01 (AEDT) to 26 October 2025 23:59 (AEDT). Qantas Frequent Flyer members who purchase a gift card from Qantas Marketplace during the offer period will earn a share of 5 million Qantas Points. The value of one share will be calculated by dividing the 5 million Qantas Points pool by the total number of shares earned by all eligible members. The member’s final points reward will be the value of one share multiplied by the total number of shares the member earns according to the following: (1) members who pay in cash will receive 1 share for every $1 spent; (2) members who use points will receive 2 shares for every $1 spent; (3) members who use Points Plus Pay will receive shares according to the rates in (1) and (2) for the respective cash and points components of their transaction. Qantas Points will be credited to the relevant Qantas account by Friday 16 January 2026. Qantas Frequent Flyer and Qantas Marketplace Terms and Conditions, voucher Terms and Conditions and any other terms and conditions disclosed at the time of redemption may apply. Who knows. It does mean that I'll probably bring forward a few more amazon GC purchases.

I wouldn't think so normally but they only need to sell a minimum of 200,000. Considering the headline offer will get a percentage of people to bite and the SC for spending on market place I wouldn't be surprised if they sell a lot more
