4points Geelong leaving SPG

A poster on Flyer Talk mentioned that Four Points Geelong is leaving Starwood on 1 December 2014.
Looked at the hotel's website and indeed this is shown on their first webpage.
Will be sad to see it leave Starwood as it was always good for a mattress run, even if its standards varied over the years.

Seem to recollect it being mentioned here, or certainly on Flyer Talk. Hs been showing as leaving in the SPG website for at least 3 months.
Just stayed there, becoming a Novotel. Not an Accor fan, and won't get me my needed SPG stays, so much less likely to stay in future.

Good job I don't think I can attend the air show next year, or I'd be upset as they'd be my choice :p

You had posted in the hotel review a few months back, I have moved the post to this thread. As you mentioned it's been on the website for awhile.
