420K velocity points - best way to get to Fort Lauderdale using the points for 2

Hi There, I have 429K velocity points. Hoping someone in the know could recommend the best way to use them to get my wife and I to Fort Lauderdale (return). Leaving late dec 2015 and back mid Jan 2016 from either Brisbane or Sydney. Preferably business class. Realise it may be to late as it is peak season but thought I would ask?

I would say "no chance" SCC -there's been quite a bit of discussion of late because VA awards, especially from Oz to anywhere in the US, have become scarcer than hens' teeth, even if trying to book them 10-11 months in advance. The fact you want to fly over the Xmas holiday period just makes an award out of the question - even if you bought tickets you're unlikely to even get any discount fares at this late stage
