Here is the calculation for Accor.

2,000 ALL points (worth $70.48 at a hotel) converts to 2,600 Velocity points.

Is it worth it?
Almost certainly not worth it for most people. I value Accor points at 3c each (according to @aikman above they're currently worth 3.5c/point). If you're using $70.48 of Accor points to get 2600 Velocity points, that values the Velocity points at 2.71c each.

Unless you're using the points for a long-haul Business class redemption on Qatar, Singapore, ANA, United etc, you're probably not going to get 2.71c worth of value for each Velocity point.
