Friends tell me Pretty Woman was woeful and didnt even buy rights to the titular Roy Orbison song, your thoughts?

I think woeful is a bit extreme - it wasn’t the best we have seen but both thoroughly enjoyed the production - always love and admire the guts and talent of live performances - would I recommend to others? There are prolly better bang for buck alternatives - but as always totally subjective

Good to hear it wasn't that terrible, I'm going to gamble on seeing Back to The Future in August, because i like to see shows that haven't made it to Australia yet, but am not expecting it to as fabulous as Wicked or Hamilton or Come From Away or Dear Evan Hansen.

Note: that friends that trashed Pretty Women were talking about the show (i.e. book, song composition, choreography not the quality of the cast) both work in the industry, one is a professional choreographer/dancer who works in musical theatre, the other is a cabaret singer who also runs a dance school so they do walk the walk.

My wife got excited when I showed her the photo of the theatre marquee for "The Play that Goes Wrong". She would love to see a live performance.
