2025 F1 Thread

Apple TV+ have the US rights for F1 for the next few years. So now how do I convince my Apple TV stb that it is in the US??? 🤔
I don't think it's launched just yet, but I suspect it's going to be tied to your Apple ID, meaning they can block access unless you have a US Apple ID with an active Apple TV+ subscription. Will be interesting to see if a VPN can open access to the broadcast given you can install Nord VPN directly on Apple TV these days.

Considering F1 is the only sport I watch, I struggle to justify Kayo. Especially with the parochial Sky coverage. I would rather pay the same to Apple and get all the extra content - even if it has parochial US content. 🤔😉
You live in Victoria and don't follow AFL!? F1 and AFL are the only reason I subscribe to Kayo, although I turn off my subscription once F1 is finished and then back on when AFL starts in the new year.

But for the past two races, a new commentary team popped up "F1 TV" rather than the Sky team, with Jolyn Palmer, to provide a less UK focus. But to be honest while the ex drivers are good, I miss Bernie Collins's analysis.

And for getting around Apple's geoblocking. Good luck with that. I think it will cheaper and easier just to take out the monthly subscription to Kayo.

Also get cricket tests without the madness of ch 7 adds every 6 balls. Worth twice the subscription fee! :)

I would have to moderate myself if I used the language I would like to, to describe what I think of football, cricket, tennis etc, etc. 🤬

Which I why I said at the start that F1 is the *only* sport I watch. :)
