Not the most inspiring lineup, but a smart choice for a new team. Glad to see BOT back in a full time seat and hope PER can find some confidence now that he's out of RBR.
I think it will work out ok for their first year, particularly since PER is a massive draw card in Mexico (and sponsorship). If Jak Crawford can get a couple of good F2 seasons under his belt, and maybe a few testing runs with the team, he might be a 2027 selection.

Who is the number one driver? LOL

At least they both should be used to dueling for last place anyway.
Happy days for STR and ALO

Thats why the LOL...no smiley faces on my keyboard.

But seriously, both are very well practiced at being number 2 drivers.
I suppose we, and Cadillac, will see who goes faster.

Well Practice and Quali went as expected....
McLarens on top, STR in the fence - twice, and ANT bogged in the gravel.

Great Race, glad I stayed up.
First 2 places were predictable but the rest was random chaos.
A great race and result for Oscar. No safety car issues for him this race, though first Safety car certainly helped NOR get back into the race, until his engine flamed out. And good to see a young driver Isaac HAD get his first podium finish.

It quite often seems Oscar is driving well within himself and has just a little more speed when needed. Happy to just stay 3 or 4 secs ahead of the opposition (Norris) but with something left. He is a spectacular driver with many more wins to come, I suspect. Pity he does not have Daniel's personality as well. I guess I'd rather have speed and reliability over personality though.

Norris had poor timing walking back to the pit area below the podium preso

HAD broke his trophy...think they need to stop with the china for trophies and make them from metal.

Jacques is always good in commentary disagreeing with the UK biased team.

Melbourne 26 tickets on sale this week. Any suggestions for best budget grand stand? Or could you live with a general park pass (if with an F1 addicted 12yr old)?

How did you go?
I heard getting grandstand tickets was a s—tshow.
I got hospitalityx2 (what I wanted) which was only available for three days
-no singles/Sat-Sun tickets
Have to go with the public sale next week.
Daughter was no 1 in Q and got Piastri tickets for two. Heard most sold out in 30 mins. Not sure there were many presale tix available.
Park pass means you can go anywhere but its bedlam Sat/Sun . Thursday and Friday (on sale next week) means you see practice runs and atmosphere still good.
