Very uncommon -- mind you, 4 x Business tickets are also rare as hen's teeth through Qatar redemptions and you somehow managed it. So never say never. But if I were looking for 4 Business redemptions on the same flight, Singapore Airlines would be my first port of call every day of the week.

Singapore redemptions have been going downhill lately.

I searched for multiple seats yesterday to Europe at the end of the booking schedule for a family trip in late 2026 and there weren't any options for x4 seats at the Saver rates. Only Advantage.

Previously this wasn't a problem if booking in advance.

Look for 2 only, get them as savers then get the other 2 at advantage on another booking

Cleared them all to Asia Miles - 60% and Virgin Atlantic- 40%. this morning.

The landscape around finding 4 J saver tickets with SIA has certainly moved over the past year or so. Such an occurrence is very rare. At most it is 2 J saver and 2 Advantage.

I’ve transferred most of my points but waiting for a couple of purchases to clear from Friday to push me over 2000 points for min transfer threshold. May not before midnight, which I presume is cut-off time, though not specified.

I wanted to transfer to Thai Orchid, didnt know mine wasnt registered until yesterday and its still pending today..
Doubt they will activate it since its being removed

I am not super familiar with all the redemption options with Qatar. Do they have saver and advantage like KF? Trying to do some numbers on whether I should shift all of the points to Qatar, or just keep them in Amex for KF.
I believe when I recently booked Qatar Biz x 4, it was 180,000 points each.

Ah, that makes sense. Standard Qatar redemptions from Australia to Europe in Business class cost 90,000 points each. They release, at most, two of these per flight and none (or at most, very few) during the European Summer peak period.

Qatar also has "Flex" redemptions for double the points (ie. 180,000 points), but there is more availability.

So if you're happy to book at the "Flex" rate, then it's probably safe to transfer to Qatar in the knowledge that if you're willing to be flexible, you may well be able to find seats for 4 people.

Note that before the AmEx devaluation, it will take 1.4 million AmEx MR points to convert to 720,000 Qatar Avios, which will get 4 one-way Business class flights to Europe at the Flexi rate.

Seems like AMEX is sweeping the points very quickly. Moved some to TG last night, showed up this morning.

Normally 2 business days, never on the weekend
