Time to start planning post COVID 2023 travel plans.

Just booked 7 nights great AirBNB apartment in Torun, Poland. Torun is the site of 2023 Speedway World Cup, held Tuesday 25th to Saturday 29th July 2023. Nothing else booked, but Torun isn't a huge town, and good accommodation will book out well before the event. Planning 12 weeks off from mid June to early September 2023, European trip for my 50th birthday present.

Reward flights are not released for 2023 yet, likely wont book a major trip until I can access J seats somewhere.

No plans.

Will just go places on an opportunistic basis, at short notice. Or not.

What else can you realistically do?

2023 seems so far away, but will hopefully come around quickly and things will be more 'normal'. Aiming for London, Paris, Italy and Croatia for our honeymoon - around Marchish.

We have already booked the main part of our 2023 travels. We will be embarking on the Silver moon in late March in Lisbon. Will probably spend a few days in Portugal before the cruise. It will be interesting to see how we go as this will be the longest we have cruised at 54 days.
The cruise is several back to back voyages. Lisbon - Barcelona - Rome - Athens - Venice - Rome.
We will visit Casablanca, Tangiers, Malta twice , 2 ports in Crete and several ports in the Adriatic.

The cruise finishes on 21/5/23 and The Chelsea Flower Show begins on 22/5 so we will go.We had tickets for 2020 but that didn't happen.Basically will fly to Europe and back with no more than an overnight in Asia each way.

So 2023 is turning out to be a return to cruising in a big way.
The March cruise of 54 days is a definite. Now have our SQ F seats SIN-FRA.
We then fly to OPO. A week driving down to Lisbon and 3 nights there before embarking on our cruise.
Some hotels already booked others awaiting the opening of bookings such as in London for the Chelsea flower show.

Then late September 2023 flying to Japan via SIN and BKK with a stop there. A few days in Kawaguchiko hopefully to see Fuji clearly. Then a couple of days in Yokohama before embarking on the Silver Muse for a 46 day cruise to Cairns via HKG and SIN.

Preliminary plans include Rarotonga, Turkiye, more birding in Indonesia and the Philippines. Too early to book but budgets and miles/points strategy prepared.

Back to Western Europe in April May - SQ, LX and LH First - western Germany, eastern France and English cathedrals ( booked).

Moldova wine tour mid year, adjacent areas if possible ( not booked).

Antarctica, Falklands etc in December, with Christmas Day on South Georgia 🎄 on Silver Wind (booked).

Caribbean cruise maybe.
