Emirates. Oh well they are taking over the world with all their A380s.
QF at least made it back to top 10 which is good.
But amazingly Garuda Indonesia has made it to 8th place! They must have been improved a lot. They won the "World's Best Economy Class".
Pretty much all top 10 airlines are Asia Pacific airlines, with exception of Turkish (well they are both Asian and European depend on who you talk to).

Since when is Asia Pacific incorporating the Middle East? A fairer statement would be to say the top 10 are all middle eastern/ Asian pacific airlines, which of course is no surprise given the service in the USA and Europe in general, while Africa and South America have the odd safety concern.

Well Middle East is part of Asia..... But I know it is all about opinions on definition of Asia Pacific.

Didn't see AirNZ in top 10 so their quality must have gone down quite a bit from my last travel with them.

Re: Top 10 Airlines and Airports - June 19 report

Yet another industry survey showing different results to another "industry leading survey". How Garuda can rate above QF is beyond me... a 'revitalised fleet' (as they push) is not sufficient to place them over QF IMHO.

When was the last time you flew GA Y?

I have found it to be consistently excellent..

Nov 2011. Good price & good service but better then QF,SQ & QR? No way.

Also, ranking Beijing & London as top 10 airports in the world is beyond me...

And who votes in this polls makes a huge difference to the overall results.

I will not be consulting the Skytrax polls as a guide of which airlines to fly or not.
