I just saw that… though my dad will likely be staying in properties in China - Shanghai, as we have a house here that we find to be better value to stay in

I'm lucky enough to be able to enjoy this at Port Douglas tonight - the Red Hot 50% special combined with the Amex Platinum SPG Gold upgrade and the Double Starpoints and 500 Starpoint bonus is a good deal!

Only sad that:

1) it's been pouring rain
2) the Seafood Buffet Restaurant was shut on Friday night

Still, thank you for pointing me to this - it's been fantastic!

Yet again - perfect for our trip to the W Maldives! Glad the stars are aligning. We want an overwater Villa though, the free nights are probably for beach Villas. Or maybe we can simply pay the difference.

Unfortunately the W Maldives is a Cat7 and not eligible for redemption.

I am likely to head to the boring Sheraton Full Moon Maldives with this promo

I'm looking at late November and I can get SYD-SIN-MLE in C class for 53k o/w ... only 1 seat though when I need two

Unfortunately the W Maldives is a Cat7 and not eligible for redemption.

Damn, knew it's too good to be true. Will just have to stump up the $1500 or so per night they want for an overwater villa (high season). Any other hotel isn't an option for me as if it weren't for the W I wouldn't be going to the Maldives to begin with - W Vieques was a close 2nd choice but W Maldives won out on the novelty factor.

We'll probably be looking out for another MH Business Companion sale fare, as we're also fitting in KUL and PEN.
