I am surprised this has not popped up before, but why was this written on the roof of the BNE rotunda (no longer there), as seen on Google Earth?

Sounds like something from the LCC/Virgni Blue days where somebody was having a joke!!

You know, I thought I'd never get to know what was written out there!

On the DJ Brisbane lounge thread (during the reno), I said there was words up there but couldn't remember what it said. I looked when the lounge reopened and it was gone, to be replaced by a garden.

Now I remember! Thanks for the memory jog! I think they were white painted stones!

Which would be infinitely more attractive than the plain dirty concrete and pebbles as it stands now. I've often gazed out the Lounge window at that thinking even a useless architectural/landscape designer could do wonders with that......it has so much potential it just amazes me how "understated" it currently is.

You know, the white pebbles say something but despite the number of times I've stared blankly at it, I can't for the life of me remember what it says
