Is 2 hours enough for a transfer from an Air NZ flight to an AA flight in LAX?

I do like to worry about these things.

It should be... Just out of interest is the AirNZ flight and AA flight on the same PNR?

I would consider 2 hours to be risky. I've waited in the immigration queue for almost as long as that.

As the flights are on different PNR's it is pretty risky... Whilst you should be able to make the connection LAX has a shocking reputation, and I would consider 2 hours to be the absolute minimum time for making a connection there. Also it's not just CBP queue's you will also have security queues to get into T4, and there are all sorts of delays which can happen from when a plane arrives in the LA area through to the plane pulling up at the gate at LAX. (Nearly missed one of my connections due to a gate not being free).

Hmm well I guess its a wait and see, as its not until July anyways.
I booked in Instant Upgrade lax-las on the last flight out at 16.30 (why soo early aa?)
