15% Velocity transfer bonus - CommBank Awards customers 1 March to 4 April 2023

I just received the following in an email from Commbank Awards - I've been waiting for a CBA one to come through!

No email though; wonder if it’s targeted? Will have to go to the website and see if a general announcement is there.

Hmmm, nothing in the awards site page. Will have to log in later and see if anything.

Odd that there’s nothing on the Awards page, I haven’t had a chance to have a look yet. I checked the email Ts & Cs, it doesn’t state anything about needing to have received that email in order to be eligible etc (as is often the case with targeted offers), it just refers to “Commbank Awards members will receive 15% bonus points if transferring etc etc” and says you need to be a Velocity member and Commbank Awards member.

I won’t be transferring until later in March anyway, but I’ll definitely keep the email as a backup, just in case the bonus points don’t eventuate!

I also got it, at the bottom of an email about earning 10k points at Flight Centre. Looks to be nothing online about it tho.

There is on the Commbank Awards webpage, I just checked it - logged into Netbank then went to the Awards link next to my credit card. The Awards home page shows the Flight Centre promotion, but if you click on the arrows at the bottom right of that picture, the Velocity 15% bonus offer comes up on the next slide and also appears on the next page when you click the main Redeem tab above the picture:

I didn't receive an email but it is there on the awards site. I just did a transfer and the points (with bonus) arrived in my VA account immediately.

I can also confirm that you will get the the 15% bonus, having just transferred my CBA points.

Odd that I didn't get notification of the promo though (but that's CBA all over).

Did this end early? I can’t see the offer any more in my CommBank App?

Also if you are currently on the Qantas Awards, do you have to opt out of this before transferring any points to Velocity?

Qantas points auto transfer each month. If you want cba rewards, you need to opt out of Qantas and then accrue Rewards points that can be transferred to the other airlines.
