Looks like slower this time.
I transferred on Saturday and as of Cinderalla time Monday night have still not landed. Website does say upto 3 days though.

Mine came through in 24 hours. Now have 500K points to blow with Etihad, although I'm tempted to wait and see what the Singapore Airlines deal is.

Depends on your intended destination. If going to Europe, I'd wait and see the transfer rate as KF is way cheaper than VA for going to Europe (between 68000 - 80000 vs 125000). But if thinking of going to USA, definitely VA!

Fully agree.

I moved enough to group my MEL-Nairobi flight. Will watch for the VA:KF transfer rate, but will be surprised if it is within 15% of 1:1.

And MH cheaper again, which is why I recently put enough points there for 2 to go to Europe in J. Only 88K MR each for a J return.

Though VA partners like Etihad do offer redemptions without Fuel Fines!
So you need to factor in the cost of the $ saved too.

I am loving these transfer boni as present. May they long continue :)
