12HR NIGHT LAYOVER in Heathrow...accom option?

Hi all,

Female is getting it at 7pm and leaving at 8am.....looking at accom and not wanting to move suitcase up and down stairs of tube.
$300 at airport for 8hr bed.

What are other suggested options for a room to rest?

There's a whole bunch of hotels on Bath Road just by Heathrow, can be reached in 5 minutes or so by the hotel hoppa buses (or whatever they're called these days). Accommodation covers all price ranges.

The Marriott runs along part of the runway just across from the airport fence... amazing views of the planes taking off or landing. Soundproofed so no noise, but with a room on the right floor you're literally looking into the flightdeckof a 747 at the same height as the pilots. https://www.marriott.com.au/hotels/hotel-rooms/lhrbr-renaissance-london-heathrow-hotel/

We landed at T3 at 8pm ( luggage ticketed through to Barcelona so had HLO). Got the Hoppa bus to the Premier Inn Bath Road. Check in at hotel is really quick. Price is good. Hotel perfect for a quick sleep and easy transport to the airport the next morning. We caught the Hoppa bus back to T3 at 5am ( it stops right at the hotel door ) If you need to eat there are cafes in the foyer of the hotel. Very easy and seamless.

If you use your favorite internet search engine with "flyertalk heathrow hotel" you will get multiple possible answers (more than I want to list) to your query and options to avoid costs you didn't realize you would be incurring. :shock:

As a female solo traveller I've transited LHR twice for similar duration and flight times and stayed at hotels along Bath Road as this is within the Heathrow free travel area otherwise you would have to pay 5 GBP each way for the hotel Hoppa bus. No problems getting on a bus at these times, I stayed at both Park Inn and Radisson Edwardian for about 65 GBP and would recommend both.
