I think I used to know this but just checking. Because I'm getting old.

We are flying to Sydney, staying overnight at Rydges then onwards tne next day to Koh Samui. All on Qantas, same PNR. Will luggage be checked through to Koh Samui from Adelaide? Doing this to avoid the 6am departure from Adelaide which really wrecks us and a tight connection in Sydney. And maximising valuable F Lounge time. . Tx

Luggage won't be checked through for the SYD-BKK-Samui sectors if you have an overnight in SYD. You'll have to check in at the F desk in SYD International.

No airport in Australia checks through overnight iirc although MEL might have weird things based on timings.

SYD most definitely needs you to take your luggage and then check it in again the next day.

Ah. Not what I wanted to hear. So there is an F entrance in Sydney? Only used the Melb one. That's something if so. Thanks for the information.
