Hi. Simple question. Flying to hk on Qantas y (paid) followed by flight 6.5 hours later Emirates F (reward, different pnr) to Milan. According to the website Qantas should check bags through which would save us a heap of time in Hong Kong. Not sure if people have had success. Checking in at ool so agent may not know. Either way lots of time and P1 if there are issues

Looks good as per here: https://www.qantas.com/agencyconnec...ge/interline-and-through-checked-baggage.html

QF to EK seems no different than QF to QF on seperate PNR's in that they will through check bags. Might be worth keeping that link handy in case of any pushback at the airport - I've had to show it when interlining from QF to OneWorld on a mixed reward/rev booking.
