SQ flights SYD-SIN in J not available at present

In the past week when searching for SQ fights ex-SYD at the edge of the booking window in J - SYD-SIN is not available - other cities still available. Since the Virgin booking window SYD-xx_-SIN is not open for these dates the option of connecting does not show up either.

With 5 flights per day SYD-SIN it's very surprising - hope this is a temporary glitch and not the beginning of more blackouts.

Yes - savers available on all SYD-SIN flights except the 3pm departure which is Waitlisted

This is a good pick-up luxury-lizard. I've had a look across a number of Star Alliance partners (and also using seats.aero), and for each day in April 2026 there are no J SQ seats released to partners on specifically SYD - SIN. There is plenty of availability on BNE - SIN, MEL - SIN and also SIN - SYD but SYD - SIN in particular is completely blank.

I haven't done a full search but it looks like that this restriction might extend for all of 2026.

I am hoping that this is just a short term limitation but there are plenty of Y availability coming through on SYD - SIN on SQ.

Yup - not sure if it's a glitch but seems odd that 'at the edge" of the booking window all 5 flights ex-MEL have 2 award seats available but zero ex-SYD. My dates open in a week so will book ex-MEL to ROM (but book the flexible rate) then add the connecting VA flight in about a month's time (when VA calendar opens).

Maybe they’re still sorting out whether to maintain 2x 388 or not and thus are not yet releasing award seats. They tend to play around with the 388s a bit (less so to/from SYD though).
