I guess medical issue unless there is severe wx around BNE.

They’ve already flight planned to continue to BNE after 40 mins on the ground in CBR, so yeah I guess they need to get someone off quickly then continue on their way.

Their approach wasn’t helped by a change of runways.

I wonder why? As pointed out, the other flights leaving BNE went straight out, only the CI went south. SQ and VietJet are others, alongside EK and QR going directly north.
