edit: Yes you have to ring them in US so a bit of PITA, and they try to convince you not to cancel: FYI US toll Free #: 1-800-544-0422 but happy for 2K AA points for USD2....importantly keeps my AA account active

Got burned by the economist deal. It appears you need to be early with these deals otherwise they shut them down as more take them up.

I don’t think so, not sure anyone would be game, probably result in a loss of money seeing as it’s touch and go if you will even receive the first purchase bonus seeing as it’s against the T&C’s for non US residents to even use the eShopping.

But on that note the 1500 bonus points for my Economist subscription looks promising
