Long time lurker, first time poster. First off thanks for the awesome resource.

Flying qf019 syd --> Bne --> mnl in December. Just checking that we are able to disembark and head to the lounge? Otherwise I might try and shift flight.

You have to disembark at BNE so the plane can be cleaned, but I believe you are able to leave carry on bags on board. You'll be be able to go to the Qantas lounge provided you have access to it via class of travel or status.

I would advise you to take all carry on luggage with you if or when you go to the lounge even if they do allow you to leave it onboard.

You must have your passport & boarding pass on you as you will need these to reboard your flight when security do the face to passport check at the boarding gate.

You will also possibly have another seat allocation.

IMHO I would take everything off the flight as I have done similar flights before and have been told to take all luggage off the plan and then have to sit in another seat.
