Qantas have now changed their page to say flights will be impacted between those times, rather than the airport being closed. I think they may have jumped the gun a bit initially. Cathay have now started cancelling flights.

You could take a look at Cathay. Price looks to be about $4200, and should earn you 2 * (60 + 80) = 280SC. But I think they haven't fully loaded the flights yet, as the HKG-TYO flights are all showing as A330s (with no PE) and no connections through to HND from BNE. Probably worth waiting for...

Don't forget there's also EK for HKG-BKK, with first available on the A380. Pretty decent availability with classic rewards.
