I mean it has been almost half a year since I was last in Japan so a return is clearly well overdue... Alas there is a greater destination here, a whirlwind 3 week trip around Western Europe getting an all too brief sample of some of the major cities with Paris, London, Munich, Venice, Florence...

Background Wait didn't this guy just get back from his last trip? Surely he wouldn't have planned two trips to the same country less than 2 weeks apart? As it turns out, this is exactly what I did. I'm still not sure why, neither is my bank account but there's no room for that sort of negativity...

Welcome to my first attempt at an AFF trip report. I have had great joy in reading all the excellent TR's from other members on this forum and hope that I can contribute some knowledge to this great resource from a slightly different perspective. Once we get going I will try to let the pictures...
