I seem to pick the wrong QF12 flights. Issue wih QF12 engine 1 so flight has been delayed currently as engineers are checking the aircraft. LAX - SYD

Was delayed on QF12 from JFK to LAX by 2 hours. Delayed again LAX to Syd re routed to brisbane for fuellinh on QF12. Will probally miss connecting Syd - Per :( gg 28 hour flight now 30+ easy.. Edit: Flight terminated brisbane alternatives to be arranged due to issue with engine pump.

Actually your right due to the stopover with JFK to BOS QR ends up taking longer, while CX just has a stop in HKG and then straight to Boston. Wow thank-you madrooster! I would never have thought CX would be competitive in regards to time!

Possible, But this is a very rare occurrence as usually i am based over East. So i don't really see skywards helping me much say in future if i need to Travel to the US from Melbourne/Sydney, which is generally occurs.

To me it seems that someone has an issue of "I'm work for professional firm X, i don't want to be associated with Y". I've had as many encounter with FIFO workers acting unruly as business workers. (rare in both cases) Frankly i don't see the issue both demographics fly QF via their companies...
